India is largest producers of textile goods like Synthetic yarn, Cotton Yarn, Clothes, Hosiery etc. It covers major demands of textile goods of world requirement. During manufacturing of textile goods there are large amount of wastewater generated. This polluted water containing hazardous chemicals. This effluent should be treated as per direction given by pollution board authority so that disposal will not be a problem for industries.
In general textile processing units has setup effluent treatment plants either individually or wherever possible central effluent treatment plants. Existing effluent treatment covers Primary, Secondary and in some case Tertiary treatment by normal method. Even though the above treatment scheme is not able to control parameters as per pollution board limit. Still some effective technology is required to control all parameters and if possible recycle pure water as much as possible as now it is future demand to save fresh water.
